wining & diningWining and dining is an integral part of your enjoyment of an evening at the Henley Festival. There is something for everyone, from a sandwich at the Water’s Edge to a full à la carte dinner at the Riverside, all located within the Festival grounds. Henley Festival Hospitality, the dedicated arm of our caterers Letheby & Christopher, is delighted that the world-famous chef Albert Roux will again be masterminding superb cuisine in the Riverside Restaurant in association with Champagne Ayala. Also offered are the two very popular sittings in Terrace Restaurant and a full service package at La Scala. The Italian Piazza will once again be open throughout the evening but this year it will be bookable in advance for a 6.30pm sitting. At all other times it will be open on the usual first come, first served basis. Whatever your catering needs, once you have your ticket allocation confirmed by the Box Office, please ring 01242 541599 to book dinner in the Riverside, the Terrace Restaurant or the Italian Piazza. Due to the demand, table reservations will only be held for 20 minutes and tables must be vacated prior to the start of the main concert, to avoid noise interference. With continuous service from 6.30 pm until midnight, the Piazza is bookable in advance for a 6.30pm sitting. Due to strong demand for tables in the Italian Piazza, we are sure you will understand that if all members of your party have not arrived by 6.30pm we will not be able to hold your table and will release it to patrons awaiting service. Wednesday - Saturday For an all inclusive trouble-free evening, including Grandstand A tickets, La Scala offers the perfect solution. Hospitality packages in La Scala that include Grandstand tickets, a Laurent-Perrier Vintage Champagne reception with canapés, a four-course Albert Roux dinner, plus complimentary Laurent-Perrier Champagne and wines throughout the evening, Souvenir Programme and Car Park Pass are available Wednesday - Saturday.

Delicious Waitrose PICNIC at your Fingertips ... If you are short of time and inspiration, why not order a Waitrose picnic for two? Designed exclusively for the festival, our picnic comes in a jute bag, containing a mouthwatering array of appetisers from the Delicatezze range, with a choice of red or white wine and champagne. PRE-ORDERING HAS NOW CLOSED Limited supplies of picnics can be purchased on the night for £42 by visiting the Waitrose Collection Point in the Festival Car Park and paid for at the Box Office. The Terrace Restaurant, directly overlooking the river, is an ideal venue for less formal dining, offering a set priced, table d’hôte three course dinner menu with a wide choice of hot and cold dishes. Tables can be reserved for the pre-concert service from 6.30pm. 
The Italian Piazza offers a wide range of Italian dishes accompanied by an interesting list of European wines. 
Dine al fresco on a lovely Summer’s evening in the Tapas Garden. Enjoy the music and entertainment from the adjacent bandstand.
Sitting riverside in the gardens of a traditional-style wine bar, you are offered a specially selected list of wines and champagnes, made to order sandwich baskets and salads, together with late night coffee and brandy – the perfect location to rendezvous with friends.
