what the people say ....
 |
When we come to Henley we tend to know next to nothing about the acts on the programme, but we know that doesn’t matter. We treat it like a journey of discovery. We know we can rely on the Henley organisers to select top-class acts so we know we’ll see something we like. Henley is a unique event, the likes of which we’re not aware of anywhere else in the World. First-class hospitality for all visitors seems to go without saying and the setting is magnificent. We hope we never have to stop coming back

“Thank you for such a fabulous evening. It was a completely new experience for me and I absolutely loved it… It is such a wonderful sight to see the Brits in their gowns and dinner jackets balancing in little wooden rowing boats with candelabra, flowers and champagne buckets on the table between them - so wonderfully, eccentrically and quintessentially British.”

"Thank you so much for all you did to enable my guests to have such a wonderful time at the Festival this year. None of them had ever been before, but all loved it and have said they will not only attend next year… but will spread the word about how fantastic it is… In addition, Henry Kelly has been raving about it on his show this morning - several times!
"I've so enjoyed being there every evening - I just become more and more impressed every night. I wish I could do it all again. ..
"I love the Henley Festival - it's uniqueness, the fact everyone dresses up, the range of acts, the quality and the precision. It's a perfect example of balance, timing, and creativity. … Overall I thought it was a stunning success - the best festival I've ever been to. I especially loved Mitch, Ennio, Kit & the Widow, Toyah, Dionne Warwick, and the BCSO, the rope dancers and the fantastic energetic conductor who was the real highlight of Saturday night!"

"A superbly organised event which manages to be big and small at the same time. Big in terms of scale & ambition. Small in that it's friendly and accessible".
