The 2008 Henley Festival has been and gone… but welcome to a website that will continually evolve between now and the next Henley Festival which, should you have forgotten, takes place between 8-12th July 2009. I trust that the dates are already in your diary!

Do check back for a look at the photo gallery for the 2008 Festival for you will see images of a Festival that was memorable in hundreds of ways – so memorable in fact that the main BBC website ran a full two and a half minute front page feature on the Festival, with 500,000 hits having been received in the first 24 hours alone.

Not only was it a great festival, but it was also a record breaking festival. With ticket sales more than 7% higher than any previous year and sales of art dramatically increased over the week , we would like to thank all of those who came for their support whether as ticket buyers, art buyers, Friends or sponsors. We couldn’t do it without you – but we also hope you couldn’t do without us! And certainly from the comments pouring into the office in the immediate aftermath of the Festival, we are pretty sure that most of you will be coming back next year. We look forward to welcoming you and to laying on another event unique in the British calendar.
