The Company of Roving Eccentrica

The magical extra ingredient of any Henley Festival, the Roving Company is once again peopled by a collection of eccentrics, dare devils and absurdists.

Lance and Brenda

... is a choreographed duet that arrives on an iconic 1963 Lambretta.

A couple, Lance and Brenda express their passion for one another through their personalised version of Sixties dancing to their favourite Sixties tunes.

Choreographed by Ruth Tyson-Jones with dancers Debbie Milner and Giorgio De Carollis

Fine Artistes

Brian Popay founded Fine Artistes in 2007 after having spent 37 years working in improvised comedy and street theatre. He was a founder member of the Natural Theatre Company who have performed at Henley many times in the past.

Art Tart Rose, Brian’s daughter, is a working Bristol artist, more often appearing as her alter-ego “The Art Tart”.

Pavel Douglas is a professional stage, film and TV actor and was a critical success at the Edinburgh Festival.

Mike & Vanessa Woodward wanted to share their passion for opera and to extend its and innovative performances in unusual places!

Opera Anywhere’s first production was on a uniquely erected stage on their Village Pond, further unusual performances included railway stations, shopping centres, mobile phone shops, computer exhibitions, conference centres, ice rinks and now punts!

Opera Anywhere have appeared on a Channel 4 TV documentary presented by Harvey Goldsmith and have also broadcast live on Radio 3’s 'In Tune' programme.

Granny Turismo

Larkin'about are back again with their latest show - Granny Turismo - These ladies are the Worlds First Shopping Trolley display and dance team and Mary, Marge and Doris are looking forward to performing their precision routines for you all. Accompanied by a heady mixture of light music and 'Pop' tunes, they'll certainly have you dancing along!
We're sure you you're going to love meeting them and
maybe even sharing
a small sherry.

Felix & Felix ... putting the Great in Great Britain

The only Penny Farthing stunt riding Victorian identical twins in the business. Fantastic walkabout street theatre and mix 'n’ mingle entertainment smattered with thrilling shows and studded with glittering skills from Penny Farthing stunts to magic, crystal ball manipulation, juggling, robotics and body popping.

Accompanied by music from their suitcase sound system, and live ukulele, they demonstrate impeccable manners at all times. The Victorian era never looked so good!

KB, Terez and The Spank Band

Joyous Caribbean rhythms and colours from traditional Bahamian "rake'n scrapers"

Dixie Ticklers

The development of jazz has to be one of the most organic and fascinating stories in music. Dom James and his Dixie Ticklers would like to provide the first chapter for you with an atomic Dixieland explosion. Combining some of the brightest young talent in the UK, with the oldest charts from New Orleans archives, their goal is to entertain with skill and charm.

Kid Ory, Sidney Bechet, Louis Armstrong and Jelly Roll Morton would hopefully have approved of their renditions of "Salty Dog", "I wish I could Shimmie like my sister Kate" and "Wild Man Blues". These guys are so hot, that even New Orleans enthusiast Woody Allen has a copy of their record.

Also ....

Noisy Oyster, The Surveillance Show, The Karaoke Pod, Sam Wills, and Lili LaScala.
